Located in the Russian River Valley at Martin Ray Vineyards & Winery, Angeline Vineyards was created by Courtney Benham in 1990. The company sources grapes from the best growers in California to produce excellent value-for-money wines that represent the potential of the individual vines and the Californian terroirs. For the same reasons, Angeline carries out a philosophy of minimal interventions in the cellar.

Pinot Noir grapes are selected from premium, low-yielding vineyards in various wine-producing areas of California. And the diversity of supplies guarantees the perfect quality and expression of the vine. The grapes are harvested by hand and then fermented in stainless steel tanks to promote the aromatic fullness typical of Californian Pinot Noir. The finished wine is then aged in French oak barrels.

Angeline Pinot Noir is a red wine with a lively and clear ruby color. On the nose, it reveals a fresh and fruity aromatic profile with notes of red and dark fruits such as pomegranate, raspberry, and blueberry, and then hints of licorice and toasted bread. On the palate, it is elegant and velvety with fine tannins and a juicy and slightly spicy finish. It is a wine to drink young in combination with duck meat or other game birds.
